YeoAssistant Professor of English Dr. Jayme Yeo recently delivered her paper, “‘Dere dame, to-day demay you neuer’: Gendering Fear in the Emotional Community of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight” at the Annual Meeting of the Modern Languages Association ​in early January. The paper, slated to be published in Exemplaria in 2016, explores the relationship between gender and fear in the medieval poem’s imaginative community.   Dr. Yeo researches Renaissance devotional poetry, nationalism, and civil unrest, and also works in gender studies and early travel narratives.   Her work has also appeared in Intersections: Yearbook for Early Modern Studies and Literature and Theology.
